Description
OB2263MP SOT23-6 PWM Controller IC is a current-mode PWM controller designed for low-power offline flyback switching power supplies. It integrates the essential control and protection functions required to build compact and efficient AC-DC power supply circuits.
The OB2263MP uses current-mode PWM control to regulate the external power MOSFET. Its GATE output drives the MOSFET, while the SENSE pin monitors the switching current and provides cycle-by-cycle current limiting.
The IC features programmable switching frequency through the RI pin and incorporates frequency-shuffling technology to help improve electromagnetic interference (EMI) performance. Its extended burst-mode operation helps reduce power consumption under light-load and standby conditions.
OB2263MP also includes several protection functions, including over-current protection, overload protection, under-voltage lockout (UVLO), VDD voltage clamping and gate-output protection. These features make it suitable for compact and reliable offline flyback converters.
The MP version is available in a compact SOT23-6 package, making it useful for space-constrained SMPS designs and electronic equipment where a small PCB footprint is required.
